Taylor Scott, Co-founder and CEO of Scott's Home-Away-From-Home, grew up in Smithsburg, Maryland, in a family of eight with five siblings. He excelled in high school sports, playing football and running track. He has always had a passion for helping others.

Taylor has served ten years in the Army National Guard and proudly continues to serve locally. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Salisbury University, which he used to work at NIH. Demonstrating his adaptability and eagerness to take on new challenges, he later chose to broaden his horizons by transitioning into the industrial manufacturing world.

After successfully renting out his first long-term property, Taylor discovered short-term rentals, which inspired him to pivot his strategy. This decision led to the creation of "Scott's Home-Away-From-Home," marking the beginning of his venture into the short-term rental market.
